Torrance CA: Alpine Market in Alpine Village in Torrance won The Best Sausage in Show at the Annual State of California Meat Processors competitions held over March 5th weekend in Reno, Nevada. Master Sausage Maker Alex Lagger came home with BEST OF SHOW SAUSAGE (out of all 16 different categories) - BEIRWURST was the winner.

In addition to Best of Show – Alpine Market was awarded Grand Champion first place for the following: BIERWURST; GROBE LEBERWURST; SMOKED TURKEY BREAST; GERMAN WIENERS; POTATO SAUSAGE; GERMAN BRATWURST;

Third Place honors were received for BAVARIAN WEISSWURST; MANDARIN ORANGE TURKEY WITH ROASTED ALMONDS;

Merit Awards were received for ; BLACK FOREST HAM; BIERSCHINKEN; JAGDWURST; LEBERWURST; THURINGERBLUTWURST; CERVELATWURST; NUERNBERGER BRATWURST; KNACKWURST; WEISSWURST;
